Gage Mooring

Mr. Mooring is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Renewa. He currently leads the firm’s acquisition efforts, oversees financing and capital raise activities, and manages day-to-day operations. Prior to founding Renewa, Mr. Mooring and Mr. Lee co-founded and built Paloma Solar & Wind, Renewa’s predecessor, backed by EnCap Investments Fund XI and EnCap Energy Transition Fund I. Together, they led the successful sale of Paloma to Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC).

Previously, Mr. Mooring served as Co-Founder and President of Seawolf Resources, a leading water management company in West Texas. At Seawolf, he directed operations and led negotiations with major energy companies and landowners across 300,000 acres in West Texas and New Mexico. Mr. Mooring also co-founded KLR Group, an energy-focused investment advisor and merchant bank, where he served as Partner and Managing Director.

Mr. Mooring holds a B.A. in Economics and History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He enjoys spending time outdoors—whether in the mountains or on the water—and is a lifelong supporter of the UNC Tar Heels.
