Stephen Lee

Mr. Lee is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Renewa, where he leads the firm’s strategic direction, capital formation, and growth initiatives. With over two decades of experience in corporate finance and energy investments, he has played a central role with Mr. Mooring to build Renewa into a leading land and infrastructure investment platform in the renewable energy sector.

Before Renewa, Mr. Lee co-founded Paloma Solar & Wind with Mr. Mooring. Backed by EnCap Investments, the Paloma Solar & Wind platform laid the foundation for what Renewa is today. Before that, he co-founded KLR Group, an energy-focused merchant bank, where he was a Managing Partner. He also served as President of KLR Investments, where he and Mr. Mooring co-founded Seawolf Resources, a leading water infrastructure company in West Texas. Earlier in his career, Mr. Lee served as Co-Head of Energy Investment Banking at Rodman & Renshaw, advising public and private energy companies on capital markets and M&A.

Mr. Lee holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from New York University and resides in Houston, Texas, with his wife and two daughters.
